Me and My Gaming Books

I am a gamer.  It's my identity, and these are the gaming books that I take out to work with me.  This by no-means is my entire collection, but these are the ones that I like to have close.  The sad thing is each one of these books I have on PDF as well, but I like being able to reference to them fast.   Some of them are worn and slowly in-need of replacing, and some have barely had their spine's cracked and count among my regrets that I haven't got to read them fully yet.  Each one of them I value most highly, they are some of my most highly prized possessions.

Fables is at home on the bookshelf in our bedroom along with all the other graphic novels. The third one gets really good. I'll try not to spoil it.

You think that devoted game playing is a way of sublimating the games others play in relationships? Could be a good and proper outlet. Or just a weird random parallel on my part.

For me, no. My life is blissfully empty of social drama. My gaming life on the other-hand is full of it, and I often stir the pot to create friction between the characters just to keep things interesting. I have found that people who have fairly quiet social lives like to game like I do, while those with a lot of social tension and friction in their lives don't want it in their games. And then of course there are the shut-in gamers who have no idea what a social dynamic is in the first place...
